The Firearm Goes to the Buyer’s Licensed Dealer
When a firearm is sold across state lines to an unlicensed buyer, the firearm is transferred through the appropriate licensed dealer in the buyer’s state. Ikkin Arms can handle the outbound shipment for local sellers and coordinate with that receiving dealer.

I sold a firearm to someone in another state. Can Ikkin Arms ship it?
Yes. Bring the firearm to Ikkin Arms after calling us. We can coordinate with the buyer’s receiving dealer and handle the outbound shipment.
What does the service cost?
The interstate sale/transfer service is $40 per firearm. Shipping is additional and depends on the shipment. Packaging is charged only as needed based on the materials required.
Can the firearm be shipped directly to the buyer?
For an interstate sale to an unlicensed buyer, the firearm is sent to the appropriate licensed dealer so the buyer can complete the required transfer there.
Should I call before bringing the firearm in?
Yes. Calling first allows us to review the transaction, receiving dealer information and shipping requirements before you make the trip.
Is this the same as buying a firearm online and having it shipped to Ikkin Arms?
No. This page is for a local seller sending a firearm outward to a buyer’s dealer. If you bought a firearm online and need it shipped to Ikkin Arms for pickup, use our Online Purchase Transfer page.
